Today in the morning of 8th July,2013 I am in ,Boston,USA while it would be evening of 8th July in India- the day JVC alumni celebrate their alma mater foundation day. Admittedly ,the conditions are not encouraging as alumni are not aware about their fellow alumni and the information about college is official version which one may visualize by logging MP Veterinary University website .This is mainly because they are not receiving JVCAA news letters which we started publishing quarterly with no administrative interference . Now it is either very irregular or contains information about their Patrons or faculty-again the addresses of alumni are not updated hence distributed only among the faculty members or at the most in Jabalpur. We have broken the link of transmitting the news to the editor for publishing the same in the newsletter.
I do not know what has happened on this foundation day though I have requested DR AM Shrivastava ,our First President of JVCAA, to look into the matter and to stream line the same. JVCAA was not formed only to distribute Gold Medals but to fill some enthusiasm in our students by engaging them in some internal games and cultural activities. I don't know what happened this time-repetition of last year with absence of any activity ?
I am aware that some of our colleagues are in USA and if any one is in Boston, it will be my great pleasure to have a personal meeting with this guy and to know his opinion how we can reach to most of our alumni so that they can exchange their views on jvcalumniassociation facebook. Dr MLV Rao, the present Secretary of JVCAA has promised me to handover soft copy of the recent news letter so that I can upload it on this blog. I am trying to get the copy and also to contact Dr AM Shrivastava if any thing has happened to improve JVCAA activities.
